Notes on Atomic Habits

The idea I kept from Atomic Habits is simple: make the good choice easy enough to repeat. Ambitious goals can point you in the right direction, but ordinary days are where progress happens.

I try to lower the starting cost. If I want to read more, I leave a book where I usually sit. If I want to write, I open the document before I stop working. The action should require less negotiation the next time around.

Small habits can feel too minor to matter. That's partly why they work. They fit into real life, survive imperfect weeks, and eventually become part of how you see yourself.
